The Lord of the Forest

Maybe it's the antlers adorning his cloak, but Apricum, a 2010 Schleich figure from the Arelan fantasy series, reminds me of Cernunnos, the horned Celtic god of nature and fertility. His poised appearance seems to suggests a king rather than a warrior and I like to think of the majestic, bellowing stag as his herald.

I also have a hunch that he's intimate with those dryads... After all, together they oversee the life cycle of the forest.
